PASS mobilizes inner city youth of color from marginalized, disenfranchised, low income communities who are committed to the removal of punitive surveillance systems, dismantling the policing practices of institutionalized racism and the school to prison pipeline.

PASS envisions a school environment where students are happy, content and thriving in a supportive, non-threatening learning community that fosters positive mental health support, accurate representation, and where school resource officers are not - and never are - the solution.

SAFETY: We believe that student safety does not equate to the presence of law enforcement on school grounds.

RESTORATIVE PRACTICES: We believe that students should have access to emotional, mental and trauma experts/counselors. Including mindfulness, cultural competency training and workshops for teachers, faculty and staff.

REPRESENTATION: We believe that teachers, administrative staff and curriculum should be reflective of the current demographic of students in Providence.
